You see the snap. The QB drops back. He guns a rocket down the far sideline. And with most binos, that's where it ends. Unless, of course, they're the Bushnell Xtra-Wides. With a field-of-view twice as wide as normal binos, the action is always in-frame without ever taking your hand out of the peanut bag. Obviously just the ticket at sporting events, they're also great in theatres and at concerts. All models feature a non-slip, rubber armor and the large center focus knob keeps everything in precise focus, so onstage or in the end zone, you never miss a second of the performance. PRODUCT FEATURES:Fully multi-coated optics for superior light transmission and brightness;Extra-wide field-of-view;Large center focus knob for easy, precise adjustments;Extra-wide pop-up eyecups for long eye relief (compacts);Non-slip rubber armor absorbs shock while providing a firm grip.

 "GREAT little binocular!" 2003-11-20

I've had this binocular for several years and LOVE it! The extra wide view is the cat's meow when you're trying to see the big picture! It's easy to focus; has the extendable pieces to protect my glasses lenses; and provides a very clear view. The only thing I've used it for is to watch the critters in and near the water (whales, eagles, etc.), and it is everything I've always wanted in a binocular! I've always had trouble focusing and finding things with the bigger binoculars that don't show much through the lenses.

"Perfect for the "Sport of Kings"" 2009-07-04
By Michael Peterson (Pleasnt Hill, CA)
Bought them for a much anticipated group outing at Golden Gate Fields-Club House. Didn't have much to spend. These compact, inobtrusive, bargain-priced Binoculars served me well on that occassion, and I'm sure will continue to do so, whether at the Races or all manner of other sporting events. (They do not have a feature to eliminate hand-tremor, a premium offered only in much more costly, high-end Binoculars, and which: 1) is Hardly realistic to expect in such a modestly priced model, & 2) Not even necessary in Binoculars w/as wide a field-of-view as these).

Bottom-line: I am Very pleased with this purchase.

 "Pleasantly surprised" 2009-04-20

I bought this binocular based on recommendation of earlier reviews and I have to admit that they were right. 4x30 seem kind of weak in term of magnification but for what it was designed for this binocular is excellent. You get to see more in a given area than standard 8x20 binocular and you don't have to worry about focusing.

Initially I thought this binocular was very bulky but I was quickly won over on how comfortable it was holding it. This is the binocular to carry when you are going to air show, concert, and sports viewing.

 "See the entire stage" 2009-01-11

We own three pair of these great wide-field binoculars. Almost everyone sitting near us whom we lend these to, even for just a few moments during opera and ballet events, ask where they can buy a pair of their own. Enough said!

"well worth the money and more" 2008-11-24
By Larene Hawkins (Centerville, Utah)
My husband loves these binos. He has owned other Bushnell wides but finds these even better than his old ones. Loves to watch football games with these, can see all 22 players on the field at once. Uses them also for spotting animals in the mountains.

Bushnell Xtra-Wide 4x30 Binocular These are the most FANTASTIC binoculars I have ever owned for watching football. You can see the whole field, sideline to sideline. And they focus automatically. A fellow fan showed me his and I had to have a pair. INCREDIBLE!
