 "Just the right tool" 2008-11-29
By Scott Minunni (Buffalo, NY USA)
Purchased this item for home inspection business and was pleasantly satisfied with the pictures produced. I would recommend this product for anyone needing to take pictures at a distance for documentary purposes, I use it if I am unable to walk a roof or get close physically to a chimney, etc. The pictures come out clear and are small enough that when emailed in a report they don't create a monster Meg document. I left off one star because the camera is not mounted solidly to the body, doesn't fall off, but still could be better mounted in my opinion.

"Defective out of the box" 2008-08-15
By Steve Solometo (Lansdale, PA)
I ordered these binoculars for a trip to Alaska.

I was very disappointed that they failed in the first 10 minutes of operation. After a couple test shots, the LCD display started displaying garbage characters. I reset it, changed the batteries, but nothing would correct the display. The display is tiny and must work so you can use the primitive setup menus.

Bushnell's StableView is a high-performance binocular that is perfect for extended viewing. The on-board Image Stabilizing technology neutralizes hand movements and offers two modes to choose from. Normal mode compensates for three degrees of motion - ideal for use in a moving boat or car. Fine mode dampens up to one degree of movement - significantly reducing hand tremors and the "shake" typical at higher magnification. Your view is stabilized instantaneously! Essential gear for birders, wildlife observers, big-game hunters and anyone who enjoys viewing nature.

 "Vale su precio." 2009-04-23
By Humberto Herrera (Panama, PANAMA)
Lo compré a modo de prueba y me siento satisfecho con la compra. Las fotos tomadas hasta ahora las considero de buena calidad. Sirve para captar momentos a distancia que de otra forma la cámara normal no daría el tiempo para capturar esos momentos.

 "Bushnell Binocular w/VGA Camera" 2009-02-14
By D. R. Ashton (Vine Grove, KY United States)
The Good: Great price, Small size is great for hiking, travel & concerts. Takes fairly good pictures & software is easy to use.

The Bad: Having to hold the binoculars very steady for a good focused picture, which is very hard to do. Take extra batteries, they don't last long.

"This works with my Mac..." 2009-01-19
By Matt Martinez (Oklahoma City, OK United States)
These binoculars have pretty decent resolution. Just a little too quick to go into battery saving sleep mode when trying to spot and take a good shot. The magnification of the pictures isn't exactly the same magnification as the binocular, but it is very close! After taking multiple shots in multishot 3 photo mode, the device resets itself to the default single photo setting. This causes you to memorize keystrokes to get back to the multishot setting in order to get additional shots if you are still spotting with the viewfinder. It's not difficult though, just a hair inconvenient. Recording video with this device gives surprising clear results. The video is about 8 seconds worth for each shot. During playback, the video is a little fast on the playback speed but still very viewable. Again, after shooting video, the device resets back to single photo mode. I don't use the included software to view the pictures. I just hook this up to a USB port and my Mac (and Windows computer at work) reads it as an external thumb drive. I just click through the folders and I can view the images or movies. There is no special USB cord for these binoculars. It uses the standand mini-USB so you can have multiple cords if needed. For the price, this is a great cheap thrill. Several of my friends are buying some after seeing mine and the quality they produce.

 "Bird watcher..." 2009-01-01
By P. Weir (West Palm Beach)
I just started the hobbie of bird watching, so my husband bought me these as a gift. I have to say that I get wonderful clarity, but the photo aspect is lacking, but I'm willing to over look that and really didn't expect much in that department. I would have to say I would get a cheaper pair and lose the photo/video part, until Bushnell can impove on it.

 "A GOOD BUY" 2008-12-16
By Sbluedog007 (Baltimore MD)
I purchaced this for my 80 yr old mother who resides in England.

Her home overlooks the Solent which is the body of water leading to the port of Southampton, now she can view the great liners and take photo's of them coming and going from their cruise's

 "Bushnell Didital Binoculars" 2008-09-04
By Charles T. Batts

The quality of the digital pictures are poor at best. One must hold the binoculars perfectly still to get a decent shot. What you see through the binoculars is not in alignment with the digital camera.
