"Bushnell Binocular in the Amazon" 2008-03-01
By Yale Traveler (New Haven, CT)
I purchased the Bushnell NatureView 8X40 Birder Binocular for my recent trip to the Amazon rainforest on the upper Amazon in Peru. It worked very well and enabled me to successfully view multiple birds, animals, and plants.

 "for bird watchers" 2008-01-27
By Rolando J. Piloto (usa)
I'm a currently bird watcher .This Binocular its great for that, since has the magnification that you need for that matter. Some binoculars in the market usually have too much and that will be a problem when you are trying to see a bird who is just a few feet away from you.Great product a great price.

"Broke easily and warranty stinks" 2007-12-23
By Dr One (Virtual)
Purchased these as a gift and they were fine briefly until the internal parts failed. Contacted Bushnell and the warranty is useless -- costs more to have them repaired under warranty than to buy new ones. Get a grip Bushnell.

 "excellent value" 2007-05-13
By Herbert C. Meyer (Shelbyville, KY, USA)
Purchased to view birds and wildlife from my kitchen window. Sharp, clear image at reasonable cost. Replaced old pair of 7x35's that no longer fuse images properly (dropped too many times) and a pair of compacts (too small for good image).

 "binoculars" 2009-06-20
By Constance R. Bennett (S,C.)
Bought to watch birds and they're great. Can see the bands on the birds in my backyard finally.

 "Great gift for Mom" 2009-06-05
By Joseph T. Pastor (St. Louis MO)
I sold my astronomy binoculars (too big to be useful, the telescope is easier) to buy my mom - a birding enthusiast - these for Mother's Day. When I got them I checked them out for myself. Great detail, good magnification and field of view, and easy to keep steady. After dark I looked at some open star clusters and found that they are great for astronomy too. Mom loves 'em, uses them almost every day from the kitchen window for urban bird-watching. I plan to buy a pair for myself for astronomy.

We bought these binoculars for our daughter-in-laws birthday. She likes to birdwatch when she can find the time. I can't really say how well they work but she seems pleased with them.
